Bilingual Children

Children raised in mixed English / French families have a great potential of becoming bilingual.

Even if they easily understand both languages, it is sometimes difficult to make them speak the language they are least exposed to. When they reach school age, it might also be difficult for parents to teach them how to read and write in French.

The Ecole Française de Bristol gives your children the chance to learn in a French environment. Children will soon be able to express themselves fluently in French, and later to read and to write. The activities at the school allow them to learn the language and the culture, as well as discover the world and further their personal development. This is a great preparation to British or French primary school.
